1) Take the height of the wall in inches and divide by 5 inches (the face of the log).
     Example: 8' high wall = (96" divided by 5") = 19.2 courses high of log siding

2) Add the total feet of the wall around your home.
    Example: If your home is 24' x 30' square (24 + 24 + 30 + 30) = 108 feet.

3) Multiply the above numbers to get the lineal feet needed.
    Example: 19.2 courses high  X 108 feet long = 2073.6 (2074) lineal feet needed.
